ARAM I CATHOLICOS GIVES BOOK ABOUT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE TO MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF ITALY

Great House of Cilicia Catholicos Aram I met Minister of Foreign
Affairs of Italy Franco Frattini in Rome within the framework of the
conference preceding the G8 Summit.
The meeting proceeded in a friendly atmosphere. His Holiness
Patriarch and the Italian Minister discussed issues regarding the
current situation in the Middle East, in the light of new political
developments and approaches between Iran and Israel, as well as the
current situation in Lebanon after the parliamentary elections.
According to the Catholicosate of Antelias, at the end of the meeting
His Holiness the Patriarch gave an important book about Armenian
Genocide to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy.
