visited Gyumri, August 25. The visit aimed at appointing a new
coordinator for Gyumri ANC headquarters. Recently amnestied Ashot
Zakaryan, Atsakh war participant and former Chief of Gyumri military
police, was appointed for the position.
The ANC representatives met with the local activists of the
party. Vladimir Karapetyan, ANC Foreign Relations Coordinator stated
that Levon Ter-Petrosyan would touch upon Karabakh conflict issue
during his speech at the September 18 opposition rally.
