ArmInfo. Heritage Opposition Party of Armenia intends to apply to the
Constitutional Court to verify compliance of the Armenian-Turkish
protocols to the Constitution of Armenia, says the statement
disseminated by the party on Thursday.

The party also demands nation-wide referendum of confidence to the
president and on final ratification of the Protocols. The party intends
to initiate such referendum after the autumn session of the National
Assembly and if necessary, to apply to the government for fulfillment
of the powers set forth in the Law On Referendum. The party is also
going to discuss the issue with opposition and pro-governmental parties
having similar stand on the issue. The party intends to consult with
international exerts to specify the possibility of making changes to
the protocols and defining their possible consequences. In case changes
to the protocols are impossible, the party will take collective and
independent measures to stop the process endangering the interests
of Armenia. Heritage Party also intends to launch consultations with
organizations in Diaspora and calls on the Armenians worldwide to
start signature collection to display their attitude to the protocols
and the foreign policy of Armenia. The party applies to the National
Security Council for organization of a meeting involving all the
    forces interested.

The Party expects the NKR authorities and public and political circles
to express their stands on the protocols that will inevitably affect
the international recognition of the NKR .
