PACE MONITORING COMMITTEE DID NOT DISCUSS ISSUE OF ARMENIA DUE TO LACK OF TIME

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The PACE Monitoring Committee
at the September 9 sitting in Paris did not have time to discuss the
issue of fulfillment of PACE Resolution N 1677 by Armenia.

According to head of PACE Armenian delegation David Haroutiunian, the
reason was that there were very many issues on sitting's agenda. The
issue will be discussed at the Monitoring Committee next sitting,
during the PACE last session to be convened in late September.
