PRESIDENT SARGSYAN MEETS PARTICIPANTS OF THE "RUSSIAN WORD DAYS" IN ARMENIA

President Serzh Sargsyan today received participants of the "Russian
Word Days" in Armenia, representatives of the spheres of literature,
mass media, music, theatre and cinema.
The President stressed the importance of such initiatives for the
development of the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership in the
humanitarian sphere and the propagation of the Russian language and
culture in our country.
President Sargsyan added that the teaching of Russian language in
Armenia is on a high level, which is evidenced by the successes of
Armenian students at different Russian language Olympiads.
The guests told the President about their impressions and presented
new ides for further development of the Armenian-Russian cultural
cooperation.
Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the initiatives of the guests and said he would
be glad to see them turn into concrete programs in the near future.
