T. SARGSIAN RECEIVES THE NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF RUSSIA TO ARMENIA V. KOVALENKO

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS:Armenian Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsian received today the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation to Armenia Vyacheslav
Kovalenko. Public relations department of Armenian Government
told Armenpress that congratulating the Ambassador on starting
his diplomatic mission in Armenia the Prime Minister expressed
confidence that his activity will contribute to further enhancement
of Armenian-Russian relations and their continuative fortification.
The Prime Minister particularly signified the activeness noted in
the Armenian-Russian economic relations and the tendencies of their
development.
During the meeting issues of bilateral importance have been discussed,
refer has been made to the fortification of business links, deepening
of possible cooperation in a number of spheres of the economy as
well as the agenda of the upcoming session of Armenian-Russian
inter-governmental commission.
