Artur Baghdasaryan to visit Belarus

September 28-October 1, 2009 RA National Security Council Secretary
Artur Baghdasaryan will pay a visit to Belarus to take part in the
sitting of CSTO Committee of Security Council Secretaries (CSTO:
Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and
Tajikistan).
Artur Baghdasaryan will participate in the second phase of CSTO
West-2009 Joint Military exercises, National Security Council
Secretary Press Service informed NEWS.am. Russian and Belarusian
Presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Alexander Lukashenko will open the
exercises.
Within the frames of the sitting, the Secretaries will discuss
political and military situation in zone of CSTO responsibility,
practical steps to establish coordinated information policy in the
frames of the Organization, a number of other issues directed to
further development of the CSTO. One of the key issues will be
examination of the situations against illicit trafficking in drugs.
