`South Caucasus Railways' is ready to resume railway communications
between Armenia and Turkey if correspondent political and technical
decisions are made on this respect, Marat Khakov, of the company told
    reporters at news conference.

According to the company's representative the freight train speed will
be 15/25km/h when the communication is resumed.

It has been also said that the freight transportation through Georgia
will be cut when the new railway works.

`When Armenian-Turkish border is opened, Gyumri-Ayrum railway demand
will be reduced,' deputy director said.
