DELEGATION HEADED BY HOVIK ABRAHAMIAN LEAVES FOR IRAN ON TWO-DAY OFFICIAL VISIT

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 29, NOYAN TAPAN. A delegation headed by RA National
Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamian leaves for Iran on a two-day official
visit on September 29. In Tehran the delegation will meet with Iranian
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and
Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili.
The delegation members will visit the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini,
the Armenian Diocese in Tehran, the Ararat cultural and sports center
where they will meet representatives of Iranian Armenians.
According to the RA NA Public Relations Department, the delegation
includes the RA NA Head of Staff Gegham Gharibjanian, MPs Galust
Sahakian and Harutiun Pambukian, RA Minister of Energy and Natural
Resources, the Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission for
Iranian-Armenian Ties Coordination Armen Movsisian, and other
high-ranking officials.
