Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani parliament makes efforts in
order to save Azerbaijan-Turkish relations against the background of
the agreement on establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey
and Armenia, which is expected to be signed on October 10.

MP from pro-government Ana veten partiyasi - AVP Zakhid Oruj said
in the Azerbaijani parliament that Turkey should sign a road card
with Azerbaijan before signing with Armenia of protocols, envisaging
establishment of diplomatic relations and opening of borders.

"Thereby, any Turkish politician should know that clear contours of
steps are available which they will undertake. Certainly, brotherly and
friendly relations will play a role in Azerbaijani-Turkish relations
in the future, but, long with it, it is necessary to register these
relations in written form," Z.Oruj said.

MP considers that protocols between Turkey and Armenia constitute
    danger for Azerbaijani national interests.

First Vice-Speaker of parliament Ziyafat Askarov also said that he
experiences anxiety over possibility to cause damage to Azerbaijani
    interests by Armenian-Turkish protocols.

"I believe that in protocols, which are expected to be signed on
October 10, interests of Azerbaijan and Turkey should be taken into
account, because initialing of documents means conducting of work in
this direction. However, I would like that we believe in the words
of Prime Minister, Chairman of the Parliament and other statesmen of
    Turkey," he said.

Earlier, Prime Minister and other statesmen of Turkey connected the
issue of opening of border with Armenia with progress in negotiations
    concerning Karabakh settlement
