DURING THE NINE MONTHS OF THE RUNNING YEAR 75 CHARITY PROGRAMS OF THE SOCIAL SPHERE HAVE BEEN SENT TO THE ARMENIAN LABOR AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS MINISTRY

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS: During the nine months of the running
year 75 charity programs of the social sphere have been sent to the
Armenian Labor and Social Affairs Ministry. Head of the ministry's
charity programs coordinating department Martin Mkhitaryan told
Armenpress that the ministry has presented a relevant suggestions
which have been taken into consideration. The presented programs are
of different nature - food, clothes, stationary, etc.
M. Mkhitaryan noted that in recent period the distribution of food
is of very small percentage. The biggest food distribution program
in Armenia was implemented within the framework of UN "World Food
Program". Within the framework of the program 35,000 families -
handicapped, parentless children, families with many children -
were ensured with food. This year the program has not been implemented.
The programs presented to the ministry also have programs of support to
children's houses, old people's houses within the framework of which
not only clothes, stationary will be provided but the establishments
will be reconstructed.
