    EASTERN PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FOREIGN MINISTERS TO MEET IN BRUSSELS

    The first meeting of the Foreign Ministers within the framework of
    the Eastern Partnership program starts in Brussels on December 8.

    Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan left for Belgium on
    December 7 to participate in the event.

    The ministerial meeting will be the first since the program in last
    May launched.

    Eastern Partnership project was officially set up at Prague summit
    (May 8, 2009), proposed by EU on Polish and Swedish initiative. The
    program is aimed at deepening of EU relations with 6 states - Armenia,
    Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.

    In the frames of the program, EU has to allocate ~@600m till 2013 to
    the mentioned countries aimed at strengthening of state institutions,
    border control and assistance to small companies.
