OUR DOORS ARE ALWAYS OPEN FOR TURKISH PRESIDENT, SAYS ISRAELI PRESIDENT

"We are still expecting Mr. President to visit Israel. Our doors are
always open to him," said Israeli President Shimon Peres, referring to
Turkish President Abdullah Gul and speaking at a ceremony of Turkey's
newly-appointed ambassador to Israel, Oguz Celikkol, presenting his
credentials to the Israeli president, reports Turkish news source

Speaking at the ceremony in Tel Aviv on Wednesday, Peres said Israel
and Turkey had "a long history of relations as well as a bright
future ahead."
Peres said Turkey and Israel had common enemies and faced common
threats, against which he said the two countries should join in
the struggle.
"We want our relations with Turkey to move on for the better,"
Peres said.
