EUROPEAN UNION SAYS OF INADMISSIBILITY OF MILITARISTIC STATEMENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

ArmInfo. European Union continues supporting Nagornyy Karabakh
conflict settlement within the frames of the OSCE Minsk Group on the
basis of Madrid principles, Armenia-EU political consultations held
in Brussels say.
At the same time it was emphasized during the consultations that
peaceful settlement of the conflict has no result, press-service of
Armenian Foreign Ministry reported. The European party welcomed the
statement adopted over the sitting of the Council of the OSCE Foreign
ministers in Athens. It was also mentioned that to support resolving of
the conflict one should avoid militaristic statements and initiate the
events directed to enhancing trust. The EU also proved its supporting
the process on normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations
stressing the importance of ratification of the Armenian-Turkish
Protocols as soon as possible.
