49 CASES OF H1N1 AND 31,4 THSD CASES OF SEASON FLU AND ARVI IN ARMENIA AS OF 9 DECEMBER

ArmInfo. The total of 49 cases of H1N1 and 31,467 thsd cases of season
flu and ARVI have been registered in Armenia as of 9 December, Armenian
Health Minister Harutyun Kushkyan said in the National Assembly today.
He also added that Tamiflu was distributed among the polyclinics of
Armenia to fight and at present another 20 thsd dozes of the medicine
have been ordered. Kushkyan said there is no reason to worry and
the number of sick people will reduce at the end of the season of
the colds.
To note, vaccination for 'swine flu' in Armenia is scheduled at the
end of January 2010. As of 7 December 2009 35 cases of H1N1 were
disclosed in Armenia.
