VIVACELL-MTS BECOMES THE GENERAL SPONSOR OF HATIS YEREVAN

Having an impeccable record of success over the past years, Hatis is
getting new opportunities for winning international laurels
VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of "Mobile TeleSystems", has entered into
a one-year sponsorship agreement with Armenia's famous Hatis Yerevan
Basketball Club. This was announced today during a press conference
and official signing ceremony held at VivaCell-MTS Headquarters,
presided by VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian, the Chairman
of Armenian Basketball Federation and Hatis board member Hrachya
Rostomyan and Arthur Minasyan, another member of Hatis board.
VivaCell-MTS' sponsorship will enable the Hatis Basketball Club to
successfully continue the administration of a formidable team to meet
the challenges of the future.
The legendary Hatis team has had an impeccable record of success and is
a subject of pride for the whole nation. VivaCell-MTS, sport's partner,
believes that as a responsible Company caring for Armenia's future,
it is necessary to look beyond other important sport activities it
has supported so far and elevate the status of basketball so as to
win international laurels in 2010 and in the next years to come. It
is believed that the partnership of Hatis Club with VivaCell-MTS will
enable the country build its reservoir of talents in basketball.
As part of its plans for sponsorship in the area of sport in year
2010, VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian stated: "In sports
like in business, the primary goal is to win; the driving force is
to believe. The success of Hatis team, the winning team of Armenia's
women, is our success as well. Future challenges inspire us, and we
are sure we all will enjoy the victories of the Armenian basketball.
Together with Hatis we will set high standards for the basketball
