  • Russia Expects Signing Of Agreements On Armenian-Azerbaijani Conflic

RUSSIA EXPECTS SIGNING OF AGREEMENTS ON ARMENIAN-AZERBAIJANI CONFLICT SETTLEMENT IN 2010

    Azerbaijan Business Center
    Dec 18 2009

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Russia expects breakthrough in negotiations on
peaceful settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Garabagh conflict.

Today in Baku Vladimir Dorokhin, the Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan,
has stated that if (accent was made on word "if") the negotiation
process goes as fast and good as in 2009, then there are chances to
    hope for any concrete results.

Following the Garabagh conflict Armenia has occupied 20% of Azerbaijani
territory and evicted 1 million people from places of permanent
residence. Since May 1994 Armenia and Azerbaijan have been applying
    ceasefire regime.
