One shouldn't perceive statements by Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmed
Davudoglu, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Presidemt Abdullah
Gul as Prophet Moses saying, said Director of the Caucasus Institute
Alexander Iskandarian.
"These statements must be viewed as politician's saying in the
political context. Obviously, some various forces are trying to
suppress process of Armenian-Turkish reconciliation," he added.
In his opinion, the Armenian side is putting Turkey's wise to the fact
that the time goes, and the process must be continued as Turkey has
signed the protocols. "The spinning out may lead to certain qualitative
changes," he said adding that in his opinion the Armenian-Turkish
protocols can be ratified in February-March of 2010.
