ARAM I MET WITH BEATITUDE IERONYMOS II OF ATHENS

Last Saturday His Holiness Aram I met with Archbishop of Athens and All
Greece his Beatitude Ieronymos II within the framework of his visit
to Greece, Communication and Information Department of Catholicosate
of Cilicia informs.
The Archbishop signified the contribution of His Holiness to the
ecumenical movement, as well the will of Armenian nation, which
enabled to rise again after the Genocide.
His Beatitude Ieronymos II highly appreciated the contribution of
Armenian community to the country. In his turn, the dignitary thanked
the Archbishop for his kind words and expressed a wish to continue the
theological dialogue between Eastern and Oriental Orthodox churches,
noting it is important to promote justice and human rights.

I met with Greek President Karolos Papoulias.
