'TASTE AND FLAVOUR OF ARTSAKH' ACTION IN STAR

ArmInfo. A topical action "Taste and Flavour of Artsakh" will be held
in STAR supermarket network from January 21 to February 3 within the
frames of the "Winter Price Fall" action.
As STAR press service told ArmInfo, being the biggest network of
retail trade, STAR supports the governmental programme of creation of
favourable conditions for the local producers and offers its consumers
rich gifts of Artsakh nature. Beneficial discounts are offered within
the frames of the new action, aimed at saving the family budget. The
"Winter Price Fall" action includes over 60 goods, 25 of which are
presented within the frames of the topical action "Taste and Flavour
of Artsakh": these are the goods produced in Artsakh and being sold in
all the stores of STAR network. This action is a logical continuation
of the "We Buy the Armenian" action, the positive results of which
were apparent even the first weeks. "The major task of such events
is acquaintance of customers with the goods of domestic producers
and their promotion. We are sure that the majority o our clients
will further become faithful consumers of the brands, presented
in the action, and producers will increase their sales volumes",
Commercial Director of STAR network Narine Avetisyan said. According
to the source data, such actions contribute to increase of trust to
the goods of local producers, therefore, their consumption as well,
that positively affects the development of the country's economy.
To recall, STAR network of supermarkets, which ahs been functioning
since 1998, currently numbers 13 stores (12 - in Yerevan and 1 -
in Hrazdan). European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
is one of the network shareholders with 28,3% equity share.
