Azerbaijan President receives U.S. Under Secretary of State for
Political Affairs
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. On February 19, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev
received delegation, headed by U.S. Under Secretary of State for
Political Affairs William Burns, in Baku.
President noted W. Burns' current visit would contribute to
development of bilateral relations and expansion of connections
between the two countries.
W. Burns said his country attaches great importance to relations with
Azerbaijan, adding Washington intends to strengthen it.
They also touched upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh
conflict, bilateral energy cooperation and regional and international
issues.
