    ArmInfo. Apr 27 Artsakh HEK CJSC (Artsakh Hydro Power Plant) will hold
    an annual shareholders meeting.

    The meeting will take place in Stepanakert (Nagorno-Karabakh
    republic). This is the company's first annual shareholders meeting
    after the primary public placement of its shares.

    During the meeting the shareholders are to elect Counting Board, Board
    of Directors and Supervisory Committee, approve the candidacy of Audit
    SOS as financial-economic auditor in 2010, approve report 2009, last
    year's balance sheets, decide on dividends for 2009, approve the new
    version of the company's charter, the regulations of the Board of
    Directors, Supervisory Committee, Counting Board and the dividend

    The elections will be held by means of ballot votes sent to the
    shareholders on a preliminary basis.

    To note, the placement of Artsakh HEK's 3.45bln AMD worth shares
    started Mar 4 2009 is the first IPO in Armenia. 3,285,715 shares worth
    1,050 AMD each have been placed. The advisor, under-writer and
    market-maker of the shares is Armenbrok. This IPO is part of the
    energy reforms in NKR. Artsakh HEK is one of the leading power
    companies in NKR, producer of 40%-60% of the republic's energy. The
    receipts from the placed shares are supposed to be spent on the
    construction of three water power plants. This would allow the company
    to increase its output to 85% of the domestic demand.
