ARMENIAN DEPUTY AWARDED WITH RUSSIA'S ORDER OF FRIENDSHIP

Russia's Embassy in Armenia hosted Wednesday ceremony of awarding,
where by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's decree Armen Mkhitarian,
National Assembly's deputy, chairman of the 'Combat Brotherhood'
All-Armenian Public Organisation of War Veterans, was awarded with
Order of Friendship.
Russia's Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko handed the Order
over to Armen Mkhitarian, who thanked Ambassador Kovalenko, saying that
accepting the Order from his hands is a sign of fraternal friendship
between the two nations.
Armen Mkhitarian was awarded with Order of Friendship for his great
efforts in supporting veterans and their families, educating and
raising the patriotic youth, and backing the cooperation between the
veteran organisations.
