INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC INSPECTORS CREATED AT SCR

    2010-04-19 10:24:00

ArmInfo. Institute of public inspectors has been created at South-
Caucasus Railway CJSC for formation of an intermediate link between
the management and support staff of the railway.

As the Company's press service told ArmInfo, public inspectors,
numbering 50 people, will be mainly selected from among the workers.

Increase of the trains speed in Armenia is one of the primary goals set
by SCR CJSC. Enhanced level of the train movement security is required
to increase the speed, that may be assured by correct organization of
the work of all the Company's subdivisions. Assurance of an increased
level of the train movement security requires special attitude by the
lower personnel to the quality of work, that the public inspectors
    are called to change.

Improvement of the labour discipline and consciousness of railmen will
be one of the priority tasks set to the public inspectors. Besides
control and performance of the labour discipline of the support staff,
public inspectors will make demands also on the management of services
and subdivisions regarding justification of instructions and their
influence on different aspects of the railway work. So, the work of
public inspectors will run in bilateral direction. The activity of
public inspectors will allow to bring the attitude to the work of
railmen to a qualitatively new level.

SCR CJSC is the 100 percent subsidiary of Russian Railways CJSC. In
February 2008 SCR obtained a concession of the state CJSC Armenian
Railway. The agreement of concession of the Armenian Railroad CJSC
for 30 years with a 10-year renewable period was signed in Yerevan
    in February 2008.
