The recent statement by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan
over returning two regions (Aghdam and Fizuli) adjacent to Nagorno
Karabakh is a next in turn cunning step by the Turkish PM, Armenian
Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutiun, ARF-D) Bureau member Vahan
Hovhannisyan said at a press conference today upon Tert.am's request
to comment on Erdogan's comment.
According to Hovhannisyan Erdogan - realizing that it would be
impossible to speak about the return of seven regions - has started
speaking about those two only. At the same time Hovhannisyan said
that it did not matter how many regions are under discussion, as
one-sided concessions are inacceptable.
He also said that it is not acceptable to speak about any concession
unless the status of Nagorno Karabakh is defined.
