    AMBASSADOR OF ARGENTINA TO RA MIGUEL ANGEL CUNEO HANDS THE COPY OF CREDENTIALS TO EDWARD NALBANDYAN

    YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS: RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan
    received today Miguel Angel Cuneo, newly-appointed ambassador of
    Argentina to the Republic of Armenia. Miguel Angel Cuneo handed the
    copy of the credentials to Edward Nalbandyan. An official from the
    press and information department of RA Foreign Affairs Ministry told
    Armenpress that RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan congratulated
    Mr. Cuneo for his post and said he hopes Mr. Cuneo will have an
    important investment in the process of making the Armenian-Argentine
    relations stronger. Edward Nalbandyan also announced the support of RA
    Foreign Ministry to the Ambassador during the implementation of his
    diplomatic mission. RA Foreign Minister requested Mr. Cuneo to hand
    the invitation for visiting Armenia to Mr. Jorge Taiana, Nalbandyan's
    Argentine counterpart. The Ambassador Miguel Angel Cuneo expressed his
    gratitude for the warm wishes and mentioned that Argentina attaches
    a great importance to strengthening the relations with Armenia:
    it is proved by the fact Argentina established its first embassy of
    the region in Yerevan. Miguel Angel Cuneo emphasized the importance
    of the investment of the Armenian community in the development
    of the relations between the two states. The two sides expressed
    their satisfaction about the friendly relations between Armenia
    and Argentina and especially about the developed sphere of mutual
    agreements. Miguel Angel Cuneo and Edward Nalbandyan also discussed
    the possibilities of using the great potential for cooperation. They
    exchanged ideas about a number of international and regional issues,
    which represent mutual interest.
