SEYRAN OHANYAN MET VETERANS OF GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Yerevan State University hosted today the Armenian Minister of Defense
Seyran Ohanyan, professors, students and University staff, as well as
the veterans due leaving for Moscow to attend Great Parade dedicated
to 65th jubilee of victory of Great Patriotic War.
The president of YSU Aram Simonyan told Armenian soldiers and Armenian
nation have had great role in the Patriotic War, hence Armenians feel
as if their own victory.
Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan stated May 9 is a triple holiday since
Great Patriotic War jubilee; Shushi's liberation and foundation of
Artsakh Defense Army are marked.
"Every victory is the pride of Armenian people, since Armenians had
their significant role in the Patriotic War and the courage of our
veterans is never forgotten. If there weren't their feat of arms our
generation couldn't fight the way they did in Artsakh war," Minister
Ohanyan said.
Defense Minister awarded 6 veterans by the decree of Armenian President
for their contribution to the Great Patriotic War.
