EXTERNAL PRESSURE UPON ARMENIA GROWS BECAUSE OF AUTHORITIES, HEAD OF ARFD FACTION THINKS

Arminfo. The External pressure upon Armenia is growing because of the
authorities of the country, head of ARF Dashnaktiutyun parliamentary
faction Vahan Hovannisyan said at today's press-conference.
He thinks that one of the reasons of 'uncharitable' attitude of the
West to Armenia, especially after adoption of the last resolution
of European Parliament on Nagornyy Karabakh, is weak power of the
country. 'Why the Kirillovs did not implement such orders like
the resolution earlier? Because today the leadership of Armenia is
demonstrating readiness to make concessions. And representatives
of European structures see it very well. This is the reason of
anti-Armenian resolutions', - he said and added that the fact
that today Armenian government pushes forward any decision in the
parliament without an obstacle, is another reason why the West is
trying to dictate its scenarios on Karabakh settlement.
'The logic of Europeans is - if the government of Armenia may dictate
its any decision to its own citizens, let them make up their mind to
the decision on the NKR too', - he said.
