Armenia's Central Bank is the 19th (10 points) among the 26 CIS
countries, according to a rating list on central banks' dependency
on the authorities prepared by Gaidar Institute, a Russian think tank.

According to local Armenian business daily Capital the central banks
have been rated based on their dependency upon the local authorities.

Among factors the specialist took into account while calculating the
economic and political coefficients is the law on financial field.

Armenia's CB has yielded to such countries in the Eastern Europe as
    Turkmenstan and Tajikistan.

The central banks in Azerbaijan and Georgia have occupied the 20th
(10 points) and the 15th (12 points) respectively.

The list is headed by the central banks of Hungary, Bosnia and
Hertzegovina, while the most dependent CB is that of Belarus.
