    DELEGATION, HEADED BY RA DIASPORA MINISTER HRANUSH HAKOBYAN, LEAVES FOR GREECE

    The delegation, headed by RA Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan is
    on a working visit to Greece from June 7 to 11. An official from the
    press and PR office of RA Diaspora Ministry told Armenpress that
    Mrs. Hranush Hakobyan is expected to meet with representatives of
    the organizations of the Armenian community to Salonika and visit
    St. Astvatsatsin Armenian Church on the first day of the visit. The
    Minister also intends a visit to the club of the Armenian General
    Benevolent Union (AGBU) of Salonika.

    The Minister's visit to 'Simon Zavaryan' college of Athens, office of
    'Nor Ashkarh' (New World) weekly, 'Ararat' sports-cultural union and
    St. Hakob Armenian Apostolic Church is intended June 8. RA Diaspora
    Minister will visit June 9 St. Karapet and St. Grigor Lusavorich
    (Gregory the Illuminator) Armenian Churches, as well as the primacy
    of the Greek Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

    Mrs. Hranush Hakobyan will meet with the members of the central
    department of AGBU Greece. The Minister will also partake in the
    graduation party of 'Artaki Galpakyan' and 'Levon and Sofia Hakobyan'
    colleges. The Minister will visit June 10 'Hayastan' social-cultural
    center and the Armenian nursing home of Greece. A meeting with the
    President of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad Stefanos Tamvakis
    is intended as well.
