Francois Roshbluan: `The efforts of Azerbaijan, directed to the
settlement of the NK issue, make zero'
YEREVAN, JUNE 11, ARMENPRESS: 'Azerbaijan should put efforts in the
direction of regulating the Nagorno Karabakh issue the way Armenia
does,' Francois Roshbluan, French deputy, member of the French
delegation to Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, said at
today's press conference in Yerevan. 'In this context, the efforts and
works of Azerbaijan can be assessed at zero. Such position by
Azerbaijan is firstly directed against the Azerbaijani nation,'
Francois Roshbluan said.
In answer to the question about his attitude toward the fact
Azerbaijan declared him 'persona non grata', Mr. Roshbluan said such
position by Azerbaijan is a common phenomenon for him. `I consider it
an honor,' the Parliamentarian stressed. He said he is against the
establishment of PACE subcommittee on the NK conflict, as the
negotiations are carried within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
`It is quite clear that under the pressure of Azerbaijan the Turkish
President of PACE tries to undertake measures for dragging out the
settlement of the issue,' Francois Roshbluan stated.
