HAYRIKYAN NEEDS ATTENTION TOWORDS THE DAY OF THE IMPRISONED

On June 14 in Armenia is celebrated the day of imprisoned. Paruyr
Hayrikyan the head of the Union for National Self-Determination
touched upon that subject during the press conference.
According to the Union for National Self-Determination leader the
Soviet union's regime is equal to the genocide, which, however, has
been realized not only against the Armenians but also all the people
of the Soviet Union.
"We should remember that the Soviet dictatorship with its evil sides
and we should condemn it to except its return radically," Paruyr
Hayrikyan mentioned, reminding that during the last 70 years of the
Soviet Union around 100 million people died.
The speaker also attached importance to the fact that the Day of the
Imprisoned is marked in Armenia, and by the order of the president
of the country a memorial is put for the imprisoned. P. Hayrikyan is
only concerned by the fact that no required attention is paid at the
day in the country.
