PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN WAS PRESENT AT THE PARADE DEDICATED TO THE RESCUER'S DAY

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan was present at the parade dedicated
to the Rescuer's Day and the inauguration of the new building of the
Ministry for Emergency Situations.
The parade was attended by all the rescue and fire-fighters units of
the Ministry's central office and regional branches.
On the occasion of the holiday, the President of Armenia awarded the
rank of Major General to the long-time servicemen of the Ministry -
Head of the Rescue Services of the RA, Colonel of Rescue Services
Sergei Azarian and Head of the Department of the Services, Colonel
of Rescue Services Vachagan Nikoghosian.
After the festivities, the President of Armenia toured the new building
of the Ministry for Emergency Situations and observed facilities for
firefighters training.
