RPA DEPUTY CHAIRMAN: WE ARE STILL AT ZERO POINT

The pentalateral statement adopted in Astana is unique because it is
the first statement of the kind to cite UN Regulations, reconfirming
commitment to the three principles - right of self-determination,
non-use of force and territorial integrity, RPA Deputy Chairman Razmik
    Zohrabyan told reporters in Yerevan.

"We consider as powerful a document citing UN Regulations since dozens
of states have got independent on that basis," Zohrabyan said.

"The right of self-determination should be recognized first, only
then we should negotiate about compromises. However, we are still
at a zero point, therefore it's no use speaking about compromises,"
RPA Deputy Chairman said in his remarks.

Zohrabyan highly assessed President Sargsyan's speech at OSCE Astana
summit. He also appreciated all speeches delivered at the summit
singling out speeches by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and U.S.

    Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
