    December 3, 2010 - 15:52 AMT 11:52 GMT

In general, the atmosphere at OSCE summit in Astana was favorable to
Armenia, with OSCE Minsk Group position on Karabakh conflict proving
the fact, Noravank scientific-educational foundation director Gagik
    Harutyunyan. said

As he told a news conference in Yerevan, ~SFinal declaration of Astana
summit contains no mention of Artsakh, which suggests that OSCE
position on the issue remains unchanged, and is more in accordance
with Armenia~Rs interests. The OSCE support was also prompted by
consolidation of Russia~Rs position in the Minsk Group.~T

In reply to PanARMENIAN.Net reporter~Rs question concerning Azerbaijani
President~Rs reluctance to meet his Armenian counterpart at Astana
summit, Harutyunyan noted, ~SThe unwillingness can be explained by
Aliyev~Rs realizing the vulnerability of his political stance.~T

The expert gave high assessment to President Sargsyan~Rs address in
Astana, specifically noting correct accentuation of important points
including destruction of Armenian medieval cemetery in Nakichevan.
