EX-POLITICAL PRISONER HOLDS DAILY PROTESTS

Ex-political prisoner and member of the opposition Armenian National
Congress (ANC) has been holding protest outside the Justice Ministry's
Department of Penitentiaries every day since last Monday.
"I call for stopping violence against political prisoners,
particularly, against Nikol Pashinyan," he told Tert.am.
Asked whether anyone from the Department had met with him, he said
only two policemen from the police department of Shengavit district
had seen him and asked him to quit the area.
"I told them they didn't have the right to tell me anything of the
kind," Gaspari said.
He also added he had no written notice or letter to submit to the
Department. "I have nothing to hand to them. My demand is clearly
written on my poster - Keep your dirty hands off Nikol."
Gaspari said he will continue his protest until the New Year's
holidays.
