On February 10, Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan met Special
Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe in
Armenia, Maria Silvia Zehe.
Karapetyan stressed the role of CE in the implementation of programs
in the capital.
In this regard, he proposed to continue the cooperation, particularly
in exchange of experience in the capital management, training
professionals, expert consultations and involvement in grant programs,
the press service of the city administration in formed Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
Maria Silvia Zehe noted the Council of Europe examined the law "On
Yerevan" and is ready to assists reforming local government.
