KAREN KARAPETYAN: ISSUES EXITING RESIDENTS MUST BE STUDIED AND UNDERSTOOD

YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS: To understand the issues exciting the
residents of the capital and to understand the needs mechanisms are
necessary to work out and to make a corresponding analysis, Yerevan
Mayor Karen Karapetyan said during regular working consultation.
The mayor said that this way the issues exiting the residents will
find more efficient and timely solutions. Press service of Yerevan
Municipality told Armenpress that referring to involvement of
investments into metropolitan economy as much as possible, Karen
Karapetyan stressed once again that the municipality is ready to
assist in all the proposals and initiatives concerning the development
of the capital, adding that the cooperation with the private sector
will be established with all the spheres concerning the development
of the capital.
In this regard the mayor assigned to work out and present corresponding
investment proposals to potential investors.
Within the framework of the renovation program of the external
appearance of the town the mayor paid a special attention to art
illumination and greening issues of the highways, bridges and building
complexes. Corresponding solutions and proposals were assigned
to present.
The constructors violated the norms and terms defined for organization
of construction areas were referred once again. On the assignment of
the mayor the municipality will apply to means defined by law toward
the constructors who have not responded to the warning of the mayor
by intended order and in determined terms.
Referring to the management issues of the metropolitan transport,
Karen Karapetyan once more stressed that the prospective of the
transportation policy of the municipality is the organization of the
Yerevan traffic with medium-sized buses. In this issue too the mayor
assigned to be consistent.
It was also assigned to coordinate and organize works connected with
city-wide spring planting.
