ROAD TRAFFIC WILL BE ONE-SIDED IN SEVERAL STREETS OF YEREVAN
YEREVAN, APRIL 29. ARMINFO. The authorities of the capital of Armenia
are elaborating projects of construction of roads towards the central
part of Yerevan. Head of Department of Town-Planning and Architecture
of Yerevan's municipality, General Architect of the capital Samvel
Danielian informed during the sitting of the Commission on issues of
local self-government of the president of Armenia.
According to him, these projects are elaborated in order to solve the
transport problems of the capital, in particular, liquidation of
transport traffic jam. To solve this problem the vehicular traffic
will be one-sided in several streets of the capital. Besides, the
authorities of Yerevan intend to create land parking places both in
the center and in the suburbs.
