THE ARMENIAN SAMBO TEAM LEFT FOR BULGARIA

(Noyan Tapan - 12.05.2011) The Armenian sambo team, after the training
meeting in Tbilisi, left for Bulgaria to take part in the European
Championship of Sambo 2011 held on May 12-16. The Armenian delegation
consists of 9 athletes, 3 coaches and 1 referee. The delegation is
headed by the president of RA Sambo Federation Levon Hayrapetyan.
On May 13, Rusanna Sargsyan (48 kg), Tigran Kirakosyan (52 kg), Paylak
Vardazaryan (62 kg) and Ashot Danielyan (74 kg) will compete in the
"Universiada" sport complex in Sofia.
On May 14, Vahan Vardanyan (57 kg), Andranik Naghdalyan (68 kg)
and Mavrik Nasibyan will wrestle.
On May 15, the representatives of combat sambo will compete. Two
Armenian athletes Vachik Vardanyan (68 kg) and Mushegh Osipyan (82 kg)
will perform in this way of sport.
