PRINCIPAL FACES CHARGES OF EMBEZZLEMENT IN LORI

Prosecutor's Office in Armenia's Lori region has launched a criminal
case against the principal of the secondary school of Shirakamut
village.
According to the website of General Prosecutor's Office, H. Mazmanyan
is accused of abusing his position and embezzling 463,000 drams
($1234 dollars) allocated to the teachers of the school as assistance.
Mazmanyan is said to have prepared fake documents to embezzle the money
that the school received from the regional trade union of Spitak city.
An investigation is underway.
