PanARMENIAN.Net - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad underlined
on June 1 that Tehran is prepared to transfer its experiences in
different technological and scientific fields, including the civilian
nuclear technology, to the Egyptian nation.

"We are proud that we are ready to provide the Egyptian nation with
all our experiences and we believe that it is our duty to do so and
our Egyptian brothers and sisters will not be indebted to us for our
doing so," Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with a number of Egyptian
academics, university lecturers, elites and media people in Tehran.

He pointed to Iran's 32-year-long experiences in nuclear,
biotechnological, industrial, scientific and agricultural fields,
and said if necessary grounds are prepared, Tehran is also prepared
    to make investments in Egypt.

After the collapse of Hosni Mubarak's regime, the Iranian and Egyptian
officials voiced their interest in the resumption of diplomatic
relations between the two countries and Iranian Foreign Minister
Ali Akbar Salehi officially invited his Egyptian counterpart Nabil
al-Arabi to pay a visit to Tehran.

The Iranian foreign minister and his Egyptian counterpart also held
a meeting in Bali, Indonesia last week.

During the meeting which took place on the sidelines of a ministerial
meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), the two diplomats conferred
on ways to promote the bilateral relations between Tehran and Cairo,
and stressed the need for continued consultations in this regard.

Al-Arabi had earlier announced that Cairo would soon open a new page
    with Iran, FarsNews reported.
