Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian spoke about Armenia's economic
priorities during a Wednesday meeting in Vienna with his Austrian
counterpart Werner Faimann, the press service of the Armenian
government reported. It said the main emphasis was on information
    technology, energy, mining and tourism.

Sarkisian was quoted as saying that Armenian travel agencies will gain
from using the experience of Austrian colleagues. He and his Austrian
counterpart were said to have also discussed ways of attracting
European tourists to Armenia. The Austrian prime minister was said
to inquire about economic reforms in Armenia.

"We know that Austria has a participation experience in the capital
of commercial banks and we suggest that Austrian banks acquire shares
in Armenian banks. They can also take part in the establishment of
investment funds," Sarkisian was quoted as saying.

He said Armenia is going to introduce voluntary pension insurance
funds this year and mandatory savings funds in 2014, which may become
attractive to leading financial companies wishing to work in Armenia.

The sides also touched upon the Armenian-Turkish relations and the
latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

Armenian Prime Minister is visiting Vienna to attend a regional summit
of the World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia.
