PACE BUREAU LIKELY TO PUBLISH REPORT ON NAGORNO-KARABAKH IN LATE 2011

YEREVAN. - The Subcommittee on Nagorno-Karabakh of the Parliamentary
Assembly of the Council of Europe intends to publish PACE Bureau's
report on Karabakh conflict till the end of this year, head of
the Armenian delegation to PACE Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian
News-NEWS.am. In any event, such conclusion comes to mind from the
statements by subcommittee chairman Jordi I Costa, she noted.
With this in regard, the chairman of the subcommittee on Karabakh and
PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu, whose mandate expires in January 2012,
will make every effort to break the deadlock in its activities.
According to her, those deputies who once backed the idea of
re-establishment the subcommittee have realized its inefficiency.
As for the fulfillment of Armenia's commitments to the Council of
Europe, it will be discussed during the PACE autumn session.
