91 percent of the poll participants of www.parliamentARF.am considers
that the publication of lists of the citizens after the election is
not a violation of his rights

(Noyan Tapan - 08.06.2011) In the framework of the consideration of a
new Electoral Code, one of the principal points brought forward the
ARF faction of the National Assembly was the publication of lists of
citizens who took part in the election, which, according to the
representatives of the ARF, would significantly reduce the number of
electoral fraud. The majority of the parliament and the
representatives of the government t were against this point. They
believed that it would violate the principle of secrecy in the
    elections of human choice.

During this period a poll was posted on the website
(www.parliamentARF.am) of the ARF faction where site visitors should
note whether they think that the publication of the list of citizens
who participated in the election is a violation of their rights. The
result was very interesting and, according to the faction, it will
also be useful for the government representatives, as well as for the
    lawyers protecting their interests.

Thus 91 per cent of poll participants (1569 people) thinks their
rights are not violated, 5 per cent (86 people) is against the
publication of lists after the election, and only 4 per cent (69
people) finds it difficult to answer this question.
