ZARUHI POSTANJYAN URGES PRESIDENT, SPEAKER AND PRIME MINISTER TO RESIGN THEIR UNIVERSITY POSTS

Today Member of Parliament Zaruhi Postanjyan, Heritage Party,
made parliamentary inquiries with the President of Armenia and the
president of the board of Yerevan State University Serzh Sargsyan,
Speaker and president of the board of the State University of Economics
of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan and the Prime Minister and the president of
the board of the Armenian State Pedagogical University Tigran Sargsyan.
The member of parliament's inquiry implies that these top officials
were appointed to the positions of board presidents through breaches
of bylaws of the universities, and their appointment is an expression
of autocracy. Among other questions, Zaruhi Postanjyan asks if they
are ready to resign from their government posts for the sake of higher
education, the press service of the Heritage Party informs.
