AZIMOV MESSED IN TWO DIFFERENT INTERVIEWS

Azerbaijani Deputy FM Araz Azimov has completely messed the disposition
of official Baku towards the formats of the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict. Azimov appeared in two different interviews with two
different media outlets making different remarks.

In an interview with "Ekho Moskvi" radio station Azimov made quite
a strange statement for the Azerbaijani side - he said Baku isn't
intended to change the format of the OSCE Minsk Group.

"What can be more authoritative than OSCE, UN. The three co-chairs
of the Minsk Group represent permanent member states of the Security
    Council," Azeri Deputy FM said.

"I don't see any intention to search for new formats and news
organizations. Lack of outcomes isn't necessarily connected with the
format, but with the content," Azimov concluded.

While Azimov told quite different things to "Hurriyet Daily News". He
condemned the OSCE co-chairs, who "have controlled the negotiations,
banning other countries to join the process."

"We regret Turkey and Germany aren't included in this process,"
Azeri Deputy FM said adding neither EU, nor NATO have performed a
    clear strategy in South Caucasus.

Azimov has negatively highlighted the maximum intensified role of
Russia: "We'd like France and US act more dynamically to balance the
process," Azimov said while talking to "Ekho Moskvi" he expressed
appreciation for the Russian mediating efforts.
