HRAPARAK: YEGANYAN'S NEIGHBORS ARE HIS RELATIVES

    Tert.am
    23.07.11

The paper says that Gagik Yeganyan, the head of the migration service
at the Ministry of Territorial Administration, had declared at a
consultation hosted by the president earlier this week that none of
his neighbors has left the country.

The paper claims that the statement triggered several reactions,
including discussions on the social networking website Facebook,
with people questioning Yeganyan's statement and pointing to the
fact that there is at least one family at an apartment building in
the capital Yerevan that has left the country.

Further, the paper claims it found out the Gagik Yeganyan resides
in a small elite building located on Avetisyan Street, and that
various floors in that building are co-habited by other members of
    the Yeganyan family.

The paper comments that those relatives of Gagik Yeganyan are "probably
comfortably settled in Armenia thanks to Yeganyan's long-lasting
services and have no reason to emigrate from the country".
