MORE PEOPLE TAKE UP PARAGLIDING IN ARMENIA (VIDEO)

YEREVAN. - In order to know secrets of paragliding, one should have
the equipment of up to $2000, bravery and $200 to complete the training
course, member of the Paragliding Federation of Armenia Armen Sargsyan
told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He goes in for this sport for three years. Though there are only
10-12 members and no sponsors, number of people wishing to take it
up increases in Armenia.
"We train 3-4 groups in a year to fly but only 3-4 people decide
to take it up later," told Sargsyan and added that it is the most
affordable among other types of air sports.
Armen Sargsyan has recently returned from Bulgaria, where he won
the first place in a paragliding tournament. It is one of the newest
types of the sport in the world.
