ANC NO LONGER ALTERNATIVE TO RULING REGIME?

The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) can no longer be
perceived as an alternative to the ruling regime, says a member of
the Heritage party.
"The ANC, which was considered an alternative in 2008, can no longer
be perceived as such," Stepan Safaryan of the opposition Heritage
party faction in parliament told Tert.am at a news conference on
Wednesday, when asked to comment on what he called a change in the
political status quo.
An alternative implies different approaches to different issues, he
said adding that the ANC's approaches and proposals did not almost
differ from those of the authorities.
